Derek D’Ambrosio is a strong advocate in improving his own health and when he realized he could help other people make healthy lifestyle changes through exercise, he was inspired to pursue the health and fitness industry.
From working with clients, Derek has learned that “encouragement follows success and success follows encouragement.” He has also learned that there are many different bodies with many different needs, and everyone must be catered to individually.
He enjoys helping people reach their health and fitness goals and loves seeing lives improve through exercise. When training, he makes sure to explain to his clients how to properly perform each exercise to ensure maximum benefits and results. He understands that people learn and retain information in different ways, and in order for his clients to get the most out of their workouts he gives verbal and visual cues and writes their information down to make it as easy as possible for them, so that when they are exercising by themselves they will remember what to focus on from previous workout sessions.
In order to be a positive role model, Derek makes it a priority to practice healthy choices in exercise and diet. He wants to see his clients succeed and hopes that he can make exercise something they enjoy and look forward to participating in.
